Hi, I'm Rohit Bhargava. I've been a Featured Speaker at SXSW at 12 previous SXSW events across Austin, Sydney and London. Before all this, I spent 15 years in the agency world at Leo Burnett Australia and Ogilvy Global, working in strategy, creative, and new business.
After leaving agencies behind, I started two companies, spoke on stages in 32 countries, and taught marketing and storytelling at Georgetown University.
I've also written ten books (hitting the WSJ bestseller list three times), and somehow still make it to Austin every March for SXSW. Over the years at the show, I've accidentally agreed to be dunked in a freezing cold dunk tank, hosted the most popular and SHORTEST SXSW MEETUP (yes, really — 7 minutes), and been featured in the SXSW magazine (see below).
These days, I write a monthly column for Inc. Magazine about Non-Obvious Books, host a podcast, and have been writing my award-winning Email Newsletter for six years. At the end of every year, I lead the Inc. Non-Obvious Book Awards, where we select the most fascinating non-fiction books of the year.
