VW Launches New "Sound Logo" Alongside New Electric Car

This week at the Frankfurt Motor Show, VW unveiled a new brand and "sound logo" -- a woman's voice saying "Volkswagen" after a chime. It's not clear whether this sound will also be incorporated into the car, and if it might get annoying then - but you can't blame the brand for wanting to reset after the "dieselgate" scandal a few years ago.

New Research Inside the Mind of the Future Consumer In 2021

WGSN just released a white paper on the Future Consumer. The paper predicts the rise of "compressionalists," consumers who are so time strapped they want you to do the thinking for them. The report also finds cause for hope, suggesting that among consumers "a growing tide of kindness is pushing back," perhaps creating more incentive for brands to put purpose over profit.
